Luxe Drive – Sensational Experience !

E. Roosevelt once rightly said, “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.

Such a feeling I had that day, which I cant even describe here nicely. Falling short of the words, indeed. This event had given a lot of amazing vibes and made us witness best of the best stuffs of the luxury segement of such phenomenon. 

India’s prominent luxury car maker, Mercedes-Benz brought its unique customer engagement programme ‘Luxe Drive’ to Pune. Luxe Drive is based on three strong pillars of Adrenaline, Design and Gourmet. It provided a superlative luxurious experience to the patrons which left them spell bound. Mercedes-Benz organized this event to build a stronger customer base and also to attract potential customers in the city. In 2016, Luxe Drive started with Kolkata and moved on to cities like Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Chennai, Nashik, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Calicut before coming to Pune.

Mercedes-Benz wants its customers to experience comprehensive luxury; this was enhanced by associating with the very talented Gauri Khan whose exclusive collection of ‘Gauri Khan Designs’ was on display. It was appreciated by fashion lovers across age-groups. From the looks of the collection, we just cant help ourselves but fell in love with it.

The event was graced by Writer and YouTube cooking sensation, Maria Goretti who whipped up some lip-smacking dishes for the people present there. The pancake was fantastic thought bit dry. The ingredient made it go dry but the taste was very very nice. We each had two of the those atleast. Also such a sweet lady she was, Maria interacted with us for good couple of minutes and shared her vivid experience on the food, life and fitness too (yeah, food and fitness go hand in hand) 😊 We managed to click a couple of pictures as well with her. (Bragging helps later, haan 😉)

In line with Mercedes-Benz’s ‘Winning’ strategy for 2016, we also plan to bring many such amazing events in the future to delight our customers.”

 A wide range of Mercedes-Benz cars were on display which was adding the luxury quotient to the entire scene and the patrons could also experience it on a specially designed track that showcased the technological prowess of the cars. The participants were driven by a team of expert drivers and had a chance to experience car’s various dynamics and features both on-road and off-road. The visitors also experienced the memorable ‘Ah My God!’ feeling with the range of breath taking AMG range of performance cars by the brand. The best of the features of a Merc, we get to feel from inside. Simply loved it all. Drift, Test drive and what not, “Luxe Drive” gave a us a perfect platform to experience the best of this world !

 The event had in store something for everyone, right from children who could enjoy themselves in the fun-filled zone specially created for them to the extreme brand loyalists who could pick some exclusive Mercedes-Benz merchandise (because, why not).

The MercedesTrophy zone had exclusive MercedesTrophy goodies on display that kept the participants and families engaged throughout. The Mercedes-Benz pre-owned car sales team also organized a free car evaluation where in a special trade-in opportunity was provided along with personalized finance options.
Set up in 2009, Mercedes-Benz India’s world class production facility is spread over 100 acres in Chakan near Pune. Since June 2015, Mercedes-Benz India also commenced production from its new expanded production facility located in the same premises. The production facility now carries an investment of INR 1000+ crores and has the largest installed production capacity for any luxury car maker in India.

Mercedes-Benz India product portfolio comprises the locally produced Mercedes Maybach S 500, S-Class, E-Class, C-Class, CLA luxury sedans and the GLA, GLE and the GLS luxury SUVs. The CKD GLC is the 9th product added to Mercedes-Benz’s local production portfolio. Completely Built imported cars portfolio includes the A-Class, B-Class, CLS, E-Class Cabriolet, S-Class Coupé, GLC and the S 600 Guard a range of other Guard vehicles etc. The product portfolio also comprises the iconic off-roader Mercedes-AMG G 63 as well as a wide range of other Mercedes-AMG performance cars like the AMG CLA 45, AMG C 63 S, AMG S 63 Coupe, AMG GL 63, AMG S 63, AMG GLA 45, GLE 450 AMG Coupe, AMG GT S sports car and the AMG SLC 43. Given Mercedes-Benz’s continuous success in India across myriad spectrum of sales, network, operations, services, finance, etc. 2016 will be the cornerstone to inculcate the spirit of winning despite emerging market challenges.

‘Winning with Mercedes-Benz’ philosophy is also derived from the unrivalled success created by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team in the highly competitive Formula 1 in the past year. The company has maintained steady sales growth by selling 9,924 units during January-September period. The brand has won as many as 30 prestigious automotive awards conferred by different media houses across India, the highest won by any luxury automotive brand in India this year.
Mercedes-Benz launched one-of-its kind, innovative service programme, ‘My Mercedes-My Service’. With the launch of this programme, Mercedes-Benz aims to completely redefine the after-sales experience by digitizing service process and create an unparalleled benchmark in the luxury car service do-main. ‘My Mercedes-My Service’ programme comprises industry first initiatives like ‘Digital Service Drive’, ‘Premier Express Service’ and innovative ‘Service Products’.

All in all, the entire experience was surreal and I cant even wait for the next round of “Luxe Drive” happening in the city very soon.

  2. Mercedes has a long way of legacy behind. The other brand copies the technologies which were used by Merc some 15-20 years back. Class apart, technology innovation is a priority shot at Merc. Luxe-drive and similar programs definitely bring people around to know inner things about the legend brand. The writing beautifully describes the event and it’s content. Keep it up!!!!
