The vibrancy of Pune’s brewing scene in 2017 shows just how antiquated the argument over format has become.
During Recently concluded Craft Beer Invitational ’17 Awards,White Owl had won 4 prizes in different categories for Pale Ales and Porters & Stouts, Cider and Belgian Wit. Hence to expand the homecrafted brew revolution in the market, they are coming up with bottle variants very soon. White Owl Brewery is India’s first, unabashedly homegrown, premium craft beer brand. Inspired by an eclectic selection of old-world and new-age brewing styles, White Owl Brewery’s portfolio is extensive. Moreover, each variety of White Owl Beer is brewed in small batches under the leadership of a highly-experienced and internationally-trained brewing team and boasts crisp, complex flavors, distinct aromas, an alive, inviting appearance and smooth texture.
Basically they love to whoop it up and make the offerings more better !
White Owl Beer is presently available On Tap at over 70 prominent restaurants and bars across Mumbai and Pune, with numerous establishments in the pipeline. White Owl Brewery will soon debut its two most popular craft beer styles Spark and Diablo in “Bottles” to cater to strong consumer demand in the retail market. Craft Beer is definitely winning hearts and interests of many beer lovers. People are enjoying this new in thing to the core and hence the popularity.
White Owl in association with Carpe Diem recently held a beer tasting event for some of their new craft beers launching in a bottle soon, #BloggerBuddy with fellow #TheBTeam members happily attended the event. A big Shout out to Chintan, Svetlana and team Raasta Cafe for the same.
Spark is a Belgium style wheat beer. With ingredients like orange and coriander, it was certainly high on bitterness level. Pair this with some Spicy bites and voila you’ve got the mood just right.
Ace is a simply a French Apple Cider which is light and absolutely no bitterness as compared to any other craft beers available across different Brewery. Pair this with some lovely sides of nachos and you’re sorted for the evening. And I would suggest all non-beer person give this a try before venturing deep into the world of craft beers. Almost available at all brew pubs in Pune and Mumbai.
Diablo is the Irish Red Ale with a mild and sweetish aroma to it. Name derived from Spanish language meaning Devil, it really sports a good punch for the people who even just started trying craft beers. The sweet and lovely aroma is bringing wonders, I must say. This was my favorite amongst all.
Raasta Café, being the venue for the tasting, ensured a comfortable time for us and the bar bites served were perfect accompaniments to the craft beers.
Basically they are pro in their business and know how to woo customers with their best of products. They are telling the world that they are going to rock the craft brew revolution with a élan.
